FOX 10 NEWS INTERVIEWS US

Fox 10 Morning Show came out to Scottsdale Christian Academy to send us off on our “Serve Across America” tour.   About 250 elementary students were dressed in red, white, and blue, singing patriotic songs and waving American flags around a 24 foot giant canvas map made by teachers and students.  Weatherman, Cory McCloskey, took us on a walk around the route we will travel this summer as we passed several “landmarks” in America.  Students were dressed in costumes representing places like the “Statue of Liberty” in New York and pilgrims at Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts, and more! Students will be able to look online to see the SCA eagle mascot, Victor,  at a landmark in each state -  “Where’s Victor?”

SCA students also made “thank you” cards for the Rescue Mission in each state, thanking workers for serving those in need.   These students have already caught the vision of helping others as they raise money for monthly service projects throughout the school year.  As you can imagine, they were excited to send their own music teacher off on this mission!

IT BEGINS!!!    The tour officially began today on Wednesday with the rescue missions in Nogales and Tucson, Arizona.  On Thursday, we will be on the ABC 15 Morning Show bright and early as we talk about our summer tour.  This will be followed by a visit to the Phoenix Rescue Mission on Friday.  We will then hop in  the van on Sunday and head for Flagstaff, Arizona and the eastern United States.  Check out our “Tour Dates” page for our schedule, and contact us if you would like to meet us somewhere!  Thanks for taking this journey with us!

Here’s the link to the second television spot.    There may be a quick commercial before you see the interview!  Sorry!
